Founder and President
Ralph is an entrepreneur, an association executive, and a trusted advisor to associations and businesses. For the past 22 years, as Ralph J. Bloch & Associates, Inc., Ralph and his associates have served various organizations as consultants and program managers.
Previously, Ralph founded The Access Group, Inc., an association management company with 28 employees managing 10 associations. Ralph served as executive director for several of the company’s clients. His earlier association career includes serving as marketing vice president for National Home Furnishings Association, executive vice president for Western Home Furnishings Association, and executive director for California Home Furnishings Council.
Ralph’s business experience includes being president of a computer software firm and owner of a retail home furnishings company. While in the furniture business, Ralph served as a volunteer director and officer of Western Home Furnishings Association. This dual experience gives him a unique understanding of both the volunteer leaders’ and the staff leaders’ perspectives on virtually every aspect of association operations.
Over the course of his career, Ralph has consulted with scores of associations and businesses on management, marketing, leadership development, organizational development, strategic planning and issues resolution.
Ralph received his bachelor’s degree from the University of California at Los Angeles (UCLA) where he pursued post-graduate studies in management, marketing, finance and information technology.
