Helen is a marketing and sales specialist with emphasis on program and sponsorship development and sales. As an association consultant, she has developed sponsorship programs, creating a wide variety of packages for companies to gain industry recognition and return on their investment, while providing non-dues revenue for client associations. She also created and implemented a national safety program, working with a group of related associations and government agencies.
Previously, Helen served as consumer marketing and sales executive at the Chicago Tribune, training salespeople, developing marketing concepts, creating and implementing seminars and events, and establishing partnerships with major corporations to bring sponsorship revenue for the newspaper’s education program.
Helen also has experience in education at both the teaching and administrative levels. She earned her bachelor’s degree from Hofstra University, a master’s degree from Queens College of New York, and did doctoral work at Northern Illinois University.
